Supporting the Children of the Caribbean
Our mission is to bring hope, reduce hardship and promote sustainable change in the lives of impoverished children, placing a special focus on orphans in the Caribbean.
OUR BACKGROUND
Ten years ago on a routine mission in Haiti, several Haitian-American women came across an infant girl named santana living in deplorable conditions and in dire need of medical attention. The little girl captured their hearts and it was the starting point of what was to become a mission to help children in need.
To be dedicated, To embark on a life-changing journey, To sow seeds of hope.
This commitment and drive set the foundation for Sow a Seed. Together, we became the vehicle for others to collaborate for collective growth.
OUR WORK
We serve and support the Caribbean’s most vulnerable children in Haiti and Jamaica, soon expanding to more countries. Our programs focus on health, education, shelter and the arts. Through these programs we promote the wellness, safety and development of children living in our supported facilities.
For over 15 years, we have provided humanitarian aid and relief to over 250 orphanages, several youth centers and many impoverished communities.
We are currently providing 2,000 children the resources to establish a sustainable infrastructure propitious to their successful growth at all levels.
