A beacon of light forever shines @SowASeed 💖

Our hearts are saddened by the sudden loss of one of our benefactors @mikaben509

As we gather together and reflect on this beautiful soul that blessed this earth, we are reminiscent of how Mikaben would always go out of his way to help those around him, was among the first to sign up for our Spread the Joy events and always joined us in countless missions instilling hope, cheer and smiles among Haiti’s children, bringing song and dance even through the most challenging times. Among all the memories, we will remember his infectious smile, his humbleness in charitable work, his undeniable passion and inspirational messages through his music, which profoundly left an imprint in all of our lives and brought everyone together. We will forever embrace his legacy.

In this sorrowful time, the Sow A Seed community extends an outpour of love, prayers, thoughts and condolences to Mikaben’s wife, family, friends, and fans. We have gained another Angel.

Mikaben, our beacon of light and our star, please shine down on all of us as we continue to dance to the beat of your songs. Vive Mikaben for life 💖🎸

In these challenging times, we understand it can be difficult to donate or offer support but we’re not letting some bumps in the road stop us. We must persevere and lead the path for a brighter future for Haiti’s children. Please join us @sowaseed as we regroup and start putting backpack kits together filling them up with back-to-school essentials. School starts next week!

For just $12 USD, each child will receive a kit filled with school supplies that will get the child well-equipped to enter, and succeed, the academic year.
